The building work is moving on quickly with the roof now complete and the flooring going in. The internal layout is also taking shape with rooms appearing. We continue to raise funds to complete this project, if you would like to join with us please contact the church office. We have also launched our "Buy a chair" campaign to raise enough money to purchase 300 chairs. Each chair costs £25 pounds and we have already received giving for 55 chairs.

Once the minus temperatures left Wolverhampton brick work was able to commence in earnest on the site. We now have stairs and the beginings of walls. In the next two weeks all the brick work will be completed. Tony Wastall was given a tour of the site and was able to stand in each room imagining what the finished building will look like.

At the begining of January the steel work began on site and we could finally see the plans come to life. We now have a full frame work and the concrete flooring slabs are going down.

The building project continues to develop at rapid speed with the Chapel Ash skyline currently dominated by a huge crane that has arrived on site. The foundations for the building are now in place and it is anticipated that steelwork will start to emerge providing a framework for the building and a visual reflection of things to come.

September - October 2011
September has seen LifeSpring Church make massive headway into the building project and with work now fully underway on site, the 'Brick-by-Brick' campaign has also reached completion. We are now able to draw down on our mortgage and move full steam ahead with the project having reached the target set by the bank for our deposit. Since the launch of our building fund we have raised a massive £250,000!
The old Hi-Q Tyre Depot is now history and a new chapter for LifeSpring Church really begins to gather pace as building work for phase one of the project looks set for completion by May 2012.

July - August 2011
Work Begins - The LifeSpring building project entered a very exciting phase on Monday 4th July as work on site began. An historic gathering took place on the 3rd July when members of the church dedicated the site to God. Other Pastors from the city also took part in the day as prayers and declarations were made in advance of contractors beginning work. At this moment in time £36,000 is still needed in order for LifeSpring Church to complete its deposit, thus allowing the bank to release mortgage funds. This £36,000 must be achieved by mid-August. The church is standing in faith and believing for God's provision to come on time. If you would like to help by contributing to the project, please use our online donation facility below or alternatively gifts can be sent to the church office: Jubilee House, 9 Summerfield Road, Wolverhampton, WV1 4PR.

February - June 2011
Following a planning application meeting with Wolverhampton City Council, LifeSpring Church is pleased to announce that planning has been approved. With a unanimous verdict, the project has been given the go-ahead and has received positive feedback from many of the delegates present at the application meeting.
Our bank mortgage has now been submitted and we seek God in faith for a positive outcome on this front. On Sunday 6th February 2011, the church family gathered for a special meeting after the service and launched its 'Brick-by-Brick' campaign. The campaign marks the beginning of a bid to raise additional funds for one last push towards achieving an initial financial milestone. We ask for your continued prayers as LifeSpring pursues all that God has in store.

August 2010 - January 2011
The LifeSpring building project has come a long way since our last update, with detailed design work complete and a new planning application submitted. The first phase of construction is scheduled to begin in March 2011.
Much of the vision for the building centres on hosting the presence of God. We believe that it will be a place that draws people into an encounter with God, meeting their needs and changing their lives. The building will also facilitate many of the ministry activities that LifeSpring Church already operates.

In addition to serving the needs of the church, the building will feature conference facilities, a designated youth space, a café and much more, all of which are designed to reach the wider community.
With news of the project being received very positively by the local press, civic authorities and the general public, we have been very aware of the favour of God on this project from day one.
We would also like to thank you for your interest and continued support for this exciting project. We value your continued prayers and look forward to sharing more with you soon. In the mean time a video 'walk-through presentation' of how the building will look has been produced and is available to view on YouTube at: http://youtube.com/watch?v=WZjMBMBnlwl - Please feel free to share this link with friends.

The images below reflect an artistic impression of the new building. The new look exterior is bright and welcoming and the main lobby, featuring a modern café and lounge, will provide a relaxing environment.

July 2010
Purchase Completed - July 10th 2010 will go down as an historic day in the history of LifeSpring Church, as we celebrate completion on the land that will become the site of the new building. The last 6 months have seen many challenges put before us, including a last minute block on planning approval. However, God has given us favour and these obstacles have since been removed.
Contracts were finally signed and exchanged on the 10th July, the day after receiving our planning approval. We praise God for His continued blessing upon LifeSpring and for the miracles we have seen when it comes to the building project. We ask for your continued prayers as we move onto the next stage of this amazing journey.

April - June 2010
All Change - The original idea of refurbishing the current building has now been scrapped and the facility which exists at present will now make way for a completely new building. Employing the skills of Christian organisation 'ProVision', LifeSpring Church have partnered with a well respected company capable of taking the building project forward. Since ProVision have come on board we have secured a mortgage lender, re-negotiated the original purchase price and reduced it by a staggering amount, as well as reducing the solicitor's fees by £2,500. As the project currently stands we are days away from completing the purchase of the land, our planning application has been accepted and the project will soon move into the design stage.

February - March 2010
The project is currently in the developmental stage, with financial discussions, architects plans and general administrative tasks taking place. A building project team is also in place to oversee all developments.

January 2010
An opportunity arises for the purchase of 34 Clifton Street, Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton, towards the end of 2009. Situated on the outskirts of Wolverhampton City Centre and on the edge of three communities, the building is in an ideal location to serve the needs of the surrounding area and the city as a whole.
The former Hi-Q Tyre Depot provides ample space for conversion into a facility serving as a church and community centre, bringing regeneration and adding value to the area.
With the planning application submitted in January 2010, the project begins to become a reality. LifeSpring takes up an offering to raise funds, raising £36,000 to add to the £75,000 already raised.
